Philosophy of Education
Carol believes a classroom is operating at its greatest potential when it's a place where children know they are cared for in every way. “Truly loving and being concerned for my students’ growth, whether educational, emotional, or social, lends itself to being a safe space where my students are willing to take personal and academic risks.” Carol shares her natural curiosity with her students. “Students take ownership in my class and teach each other much more than I ever could.” Carol states that goal setting, solid strategies, listening and observing her students, and continuous reflection are the cornerstones of her teaching. Her passion for the craft of education is moving in a new direction as an Instructional Coach.
